Chaz Davies a encore réussi une bonne performance pour l’écurie britannique, en réussissant encore à monter sur le podium après une belle 3e place. Le gallois a donc répété sont résultat de Valence et a consolidé sa 4e place au classement général.
Lagrive et Salom réalise une course positive en se classant respectivement 6e et 7e. Ils ont tous les deux inscrits de précieux points, le français pointant désormais à la 9e place et l’espagnol à la 5e.
Di Salvo a été contraint à l’abandon suite à une problème technique.

« Cette course a été difficile… comme je les aime ! Il est vrai qu’avec un meilleur départ j’aurais pu jouer aux avant-postes, mais l’essentiel c’est ma régularité. La machine est performante. L’alchimie des deux
finira par être payante car la saison reste encore longue. Je suis satisfait : j’ai pu démontrer que je suis rapide dans cette catégorie. Il me reste encore à trouver les bons réglages sur ces foutus départs… »
« Je vais profiter de ces quelques petits jours de repos, pour me remettre de mes légères douleurs physique afin d’être en forme le week-end prochain pour la deuxième épreuve d’endurance qui m’attend à Albacète. »

CHAZ DAVIES | Triumph Daytona 675 | 3rd : « It was a hard-fought race. However, if I had a better starting position, I could’ve battled for victory. I made a good start and got behind Fujiwara, whom I eventually managed to pass but it wasn’t easy. I then pulled out half a second on him and passed Pirro as well. Unfortunately, the first two riders had a big advantage already and so it was impossible to close the gap despite having the same pace as them ».
MATTHIEU LAGRIVE | Triumph Daytona 675 | 6th : « I didn’t get a good start but I fought back and finished sixth. Unfortunately, my leg still hurt after crashing yesterday and this had some impact on my race, but I’m getting better every time and I think that soon I’ll be battling for the podium ».
DAVID SALOM | Triumph Daytona 675 | 7th : « I maintained position at the start, I was determined to gain a few positions, but the bike was slipping when exiting the corner. I didn’t take any risks and focused on finishing the race and so I was able to grab some points in the standings to keep my fifth place ».
JASON DI SALVO | Triumph Daytona 675 | retired : « I was forced to retire from the race due to a broken engine. It’s not a very good moment for me and I hope it will soon end”.

Now everybody is asking me the usual question: » When will the victory come? » Well, the results we have scored are beyond our expectations, especially with a budget like ours.
