Une \u00e9volution de la Daytona 600, moto adapt\u00e9e aussi bien \u00e0 la piste qu&rsquo;\u00e0 la conduite sur route, la Daytona 650 est une v\u00e9ritable machine Supersport. Elle comprend un ch\u00e2ssis adapt\u00e9 pour les courses offrant une connectivit\u00e9 directe et int\u00e9grale avec la piste alli\u00e9e \u00e0 un moteur g\u00e9n\u00e9rant un tourbillon de puissance et de couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pas vraiment du genre \u00e0 se reposer sur leurs lauriers, les ing\u00e9nieurs de Triumph ont enti\u00e8rement repens\u00e9 le moteur quatre cylindres en ligne 16 soupapes, DACT, \u00e0 injection et refroidissement liquide de la Daytona. La course de piston du moteur a augment\u00e9 de 3,1 mm pour \u00eatre de 44,5 mm et sa cylindr\u00e9e, augment\u00e9 de 47 cm3 passe \u00e0 646 cm3, et octroie \u00e0 la Daytona 650 une pouss\u00e9e au d\u00e9marrage tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9e soutenue par un couple important \u00e0 moyen r\u00e9gime. Le r\u00e9sultat est un moteur fonctionnant aussi bien sur route que sur les pistes de course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quelle que soit la situation, la Daytona 650 offre \u00e0 son pilote une acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration instantan\u00e9e et une r\u00e9ponse de l&rsquo;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur aussi rapide que l&rsquo;\u00e9clair \u00e0 tous les r\u00e9gimes. La puissance de 114cv est atteinte \u00e0 12 500 tr\/min, avec un couple maximum de 68 Nm disponible \u00e0 seulement 11 500 tr\/min. La lib\u00e9ration de puissance, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une nouvelle courbe d&rsquo;injection, a \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9rablement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e. Le moteur a \u00e9t\u00e9 revu ainsi qu&rsquo;une nouvelle bo\u00eete de vitesses, avec un nouveau s\u00e9lecteur \u00e0 renvoi d&rsquo;angle et un nouvel embrayage avec un syst\u00e8me anti-bruit et anti-jeu. Un embrayage \u00e0 sept disques (au lieu de 9) compense la surcharge de l&rsquo;engrenage sans jeu de dents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mondialement reconnue comme \u00e9tant l&rsquo;une des motos poids moyen ayant la meilleure maniabilit\u00e9, le cadre \u00e0 double longeron est en aluminium \u00e0 double cloison. Il est \u00e0 la fois tr\u00e8s rigide et tr\u00e8s l\u00e9ger. Les valeurs de chasse sont de 24,6\u00b0 et 89,1 mm, l&#8217;empattement de 1.390 mm. Le poids \u00e0 sec est un poids comp\u00e9titif de 165 kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La fourche avant de type \u00e0 cartouche de 43 mm est \u00e9quip\u00e9e de ressorts \u00e0 simple pas. Toutes les pi\u00e8ces internes sont en aluminium, tiges, cartouches et fixations. La fourche ainsi que le combin\u00e9 de suspension arri\u00e8re \u00e0 r\u00e9servoir ext\u00e9rieur sont r\u00e9glable en compression, d\u00e9tente et pr\u00e9contrainte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deux \u00e9triers quatre pistons pincent les deux disques de frein avant de 308 mm de diam\u00e8tre. Un \u00e9trier simple piston pince le disque arri\u00e8re de 220 mm. Les roues en aluminium coul\u00e9 sont \u00e0 trois b\u00e2tons. Le type des pneus est 120\/70 ZR 17 \u00e0 l&rsquo;avant et 180\/55 ZR 17 \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De nombreux motards recherchent un engin pur et dur con\u00e7u tout sp\u00e9cialement pour les pistes comme premi\u00e8re ou seconde moto, mais ne veulent vraiment pas \u00a0\u00bb se contenter \u00a0\u00bb d&rsquo;un autre engin banal. Empreint du besoin d&rsquo;individualit\u00e9, Triumph a tout mis en \u0153uvre pour que la Daytona 650 n&rsquo;ait pas qu&rsquo;un look diff\u00e9rent.
