L’\u00e9quipe Triumph BE1 ParkinGO Racing a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un bon WE de course am\u00e9ricain en marquant un total de 31 points, avec la 4e place de Chaz Davies, David Salom qui prend la 7e place, Jason Di Salvo 11e et enfin Matthieu Lagrive 12e.
Des les premiers tours, les pilotes se r\u00e9partissent en trois groupes distincts : le premier compos\u00e9 uniquement des pilotes finissant sur le podium. Derri\u00e8re eux un groupe de six coureurs, dont Chaz Davies et David Salom, qui se sont battus pour les places 4 \u00e0 9, et, et, plus loin derri\u00e8re, les coureurs restants.
Chaz Davies a encore une fois pris un bon d\u00e9part en prenant la troisi\u00e8me place, tandis que Salom, pourtant parti aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Chaz Davies, chute \u00e0 la dixi\u00e8me place.
Davies, temporairement cinqui\u00e8me, reprend la t\u00eate du groupe et la conservera jusqu’au drapeau \u00e0 damier, juste devant \u00a0Pirro jamais en mesure de la passer en d\u00e9pit du fait que sa Honda d’usine soit plus rapide.
Salom finit la course derri\u00e8re son co\u00e9quipier, ne pouvant l’inqui\u00e9ter \u00e0 causes d’un train de pneus us\u00e9s.
Di Salvo et Lagrive finissent presque c\u00f4te \u00e0 c\u00f4te, se battant pour la dixi\u00e8me place dans le sprint final avec la Kawasaki de Fabien Foret.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je ne suis pas surpris, \u00e7a m\u2019arrive une fois par an d\u2019\u00eatre malade lors\u00a0d\u2019un week-end de course. Ca c\u2019est fait ! Je ne vais pas me plaindre car\u00a0ce n\u2019est pas dans mon habitude, mais j\u2019ai d\u00e9gust\u00e9 et je vais mettre\u00a0quelques jours \u00e0 m\u2019en remettre\u2026 Bien entendu je suis d\u00e9\u00e7u, car je n\u2019ai\u00a0pu que limiter la casse, et c\u2019est tr\u00e8s frustrant. Maintenant je vais\u00a0profiter des quelques jours qui nous s\u00e9parent de la prochaine \u00e9preuve \u00e0\u00a0Misano pour me reposer afin de revenir en pleine forme car la saison est\u00a0encore longue et je n\u2019ai pas dis mon dernier mot !\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/p>\n

CHAZ DAVIES | Triumph Daytona 675 | 4th :<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0<\/em>I’m very happy with the result, it was a very tough race, but I held on. The engine suffered a drop\u00a0in performance and I wasn’t able to be as fast as usually, which meant I had to push harder under braking and lost contact with the front runners. However, I managed to consolidate my fourth position in the overall standings with these 13 points\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

<\/em>DAVID SALOM | Triumph Daytona 675 | 7th :<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0<\/em>I didn’t get a good start, probably because I chose to put soft tyres on, unlike the rest of the group. I couldn’t get in the leading pack in the beginning, I lost several positions and had to sweat it out for the rest of the race. Unfortunately, the tyre was worn out in the last few laps and I wasn’t able to attack Fujiwara<\/em>and <\/em>Pirro<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/em><\/p>\n

JASON DI SALVO | Triumph Daytona 675 | 11th :<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0I finally gathered some points after the two previous races when I didn’t make it\u00a0to the finish line. I battled with Foret until the end but he passed me in the final sprint\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n

MATTHIEU LAGRIVE\u00a0 | Triumph Daytona 675 | 12th :\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Unfortunately, I was very weak because of the flu\u00a0 and so I focused on finishing the race, trying to gather as many points as possible<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/em><\/p>\n
