Le pilote iralien a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un bon d\u00e9part sans pour autant r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 recoller avec les leaders. Il reste rapide dans la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 de la course et poursuit alors que ses concurrents commence \u00e0 baisser de r\u00e9gime. Il se rapproche de Pitt et finit par le d\u00e9passer et lui ravir la 6e place. Il se retrouve ensuite dans la roue d’Aitchinson, qui \u00e9tait \u00e0 seulement une seconde derri\u00e8re Lascorz and Sofuoglu. Malheureusement, Gianluca a gliss\u00e9 et quitt\u00e9 la piste en essayant de doubler Aitchinson.<\/div>\n
Garry McCoy a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une course solide. Il a d’abord conserv\u00e9 sa 12e place apr\u00e8s le 1er tour, avant de passer Fujiwara, Pirro et Roccoli pour se retrouver 9e. Il finit la course en creusant l’\u00e9cart avec ses poursuivants, et termine \u00e0 la 7e place, profitant des chutes de Foret et de son co\u00e9quipier Nannelli.<\/div>\n

GARRY McCOY | Triumph Daytona 675 | 7e :<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0I’m happy with the result especially after what happened in Saturday’s practice. I won a few points and now I’m eleventh in the standings, just one point behind tenth place. I got a good start and got rid of the opponents that I was battling with. I was fast for almost two thirds of the race but later the tyres started to wear out and I had to settle for seventh place\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n

GIANLUCA NANNELLI | Triumph Daytona 675 | NC :<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0I’m sorry I couldn’t finish the race. I was faster than Aitchinson but I made a small mistake and I lost about ten metres. As i was trying to recover, I unfortunately went off track and crashed. It’s a shame because I could’ve fought for the podium. Nevertheless, I had a good race and got a good feeling with the bike. All this gives me confidence for the next round in 15 days time in the USA\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n

GIULIANO ROVELLI – TEAM MANAGER:<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0I have to congratulate both the crew and the riders for a great job done in South Africa. Garry finished in the top 10 yet again and this enables us to overtake Suzuki in the manufacturers’ standings. \u00ab\u00a0Nanna\u00a0\u00bb gave it his all as always but he unfortunately crashed. The team has done a great job with both cycle part and engine with help from the riders and as a result we have made an important step forward in the last three rounds\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n
